Hotel Baviera Marbella, Marbella

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were basic but always kept brilliantly clean, and they had their own balcony with a view over the buildings out to the sea. The service was excellent, with helpful and polite staff who assigned us to our room and provided all the information we needed. The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the Old Town and a short stroll to the beach. The dining experience, while included in the price, could have been improved with some background music. Overall, a value-for-money choice for a stay in Marbella.

The hotel is situated perfectly near main shops, bars, and cafes, making it ideal for a short break. The rooms, though feeling a bit worn-out, offer strong air conditioning, large showers, and good Wi-Fi. The service, unfortunately, was marred by rude receptionists who lacked compassion, even though no other faults could be picked besides the room condition. Although the rain kept us indoors, the location was outstanding, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and a short walk to Orange Square for our New Year's Eve celebration. The dining options were limited, but a nearby restaurant, the Green Cafe, provides fantastic options for vegetarians. The facilities were satisfactory overall.

The hotel rooms are well decorated and to a high standard, featuring a comfortable bed and modern amenities, but felt slightly worn-out and dark even with the lights on. The service was mixed, with daily maid service being nice but encounters with receptionists were unpleasant. The location is convenient, close to the beach and attractions, but only ideal in good weather. The dining experience had nice options but was spoiled by wasps. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
